WHO AM I?
Noah Anthony Mezzacappa is a Brooklyn-based writer and filmmaker from Knoxville, Tennessee. A second-generation American raised in the south by native New Yorkers, Mezzacappa's work focuses heavily on inter- and intrapersonal alienation. In both his films and his writing there is a creeping sense of rubbernecking: his stories feel like they're being told---or witnessed---through the eyes of an observant but silent stranger, who turns to subjects like morality, mortality, and intergenerational trauma with equal interest.

A graduate of New York University, Mezzacappa's short films and music videos have played across the US at festivals in New York City, San Antonio, and Los Angeles. His most recent film, Bones, had its world premiere at the 2022 Nashville Film Festival. He is currently in post-production on another film, In Here, and production for a series of music videos with New York label Chinatown Records, including Scott Danger Bravo's 'The Syracuse Problem.' He has a chapbook of poetry expected for release in 2023 and is writing a full-length collection.

When he isn't busy worrying about the Horrors (and when he is), he is a huge fan of hip hop, Jason Isbell, and 99¢ pizza.
